Community Scanning Day

Saturday, April 29, the Local History & Archives Department of the Mooresville Public Library along with the North Carolina Digital Heritage Center will be holding a Community Scanning Day at the Selma Burke Center located at 781 Agape Drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

We invite you to bring your photos or documents relating to Mooresville families, schools, churches, local businesses, events, etc. Each item will be professionally scanned, and the originals returned to the owners along with a digital copy. These items will be preserved and included in our digital #archives, accessible to researchers and the general public for generations to come.  

Join us for Community Scanning Day to share some of those memories that have been hidden away and help us tell the story of Mooresville.
